Charleston Tents and Events is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Events Administrative Assistant Intern to support our events team. This is a great opportunity for a current student interested in event planning, project management, or communications to gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic, real-world setting.

About the Position

  • Assist with general administrative duties including responding to emails and managing calendars

  • Create and update basic spreadsheets and documents to support event planning and tracking

  • Help coordinate logistics for campus events, meetings, and programs

  • Maintain organized records and digital files

  • Support the team with special projects as needed

Key Responsibilities

  • Current College of Charleston student in good academic standing

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Interest in events, hospitality, or project management

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (especially Sheets and Docs)

  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively

  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
