Charleston Tents and Events is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Events Administrative Assistant Intern to support our events team. This is a great opportunity for a current student interested in event planning, project management, or communications to gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic, real-world setting.
About the Position
Assist with general administrative duties including responding to emails and managing calendars
Create and update basic spreadsheets and documents to support event planning and tracking
Help coordinate logistics for campus events, meetings, and programs
Maintain organized records and digital files
Support the team with special projects as needed
Key Responsibilities
Current College of Charleston student in good academic standing
Strong organizational and communication skills
Interest in events, hospitality, or project management
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (especially Sheets and Docs)
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
